Our client in the public sector is now looking for two IT technicians for a larger local project focused on the installation, relocation, and setup of IT workstations. The assignment is practical and onsite-based, meaning you will work closely with the business on everything related to physical workstations and associated equipment.

This assignment in Gothenburg is for a fixed-term project of approximately 9 months starting in early February 2026. The work takes place on-site at the client's premises as well as at temporary evacuation areas.

Travel between different locations is included in the job, and you will have access to a car for work purposes. A valid driver's license (B) is therefore a requirement.

Your Responsibilities

As an IT technician in this project, you will work with the entire lifecycle of IT workstations. This involves setting up new workstations, dismantling existing ones, and ensuring that everything functions correctly when employees move or receive new workspaces.

You will, among other things:

• Build and configure complete workstations
• Install monitors, docking stations, keyboards, and mice
• Dismantle and relocate workstations between different premises
• Patch and activate network outlets
• Follow up and plan work, including in Excel
• Ensure that each workstation is correctly installed and ready for use

All work is done on-site and is very hands-on, focusing on hardware and physical IT environments.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as an IT technician or in a similar role
• Good experience in the installation and assembly of IT workstations
• Basic networking knowledge, such as patching outlets
• Experience working in a structured and independent manner
• Valid driver's license (B)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with similar projects, such as office relocations or larger rollouts
• Experience in the public sector
